I got it. Stopped off at the Apple store after work to pick up a copy of Snow Leopard – Mac OS 10.6. When I got there the store was packed. It’s always busy, but the line up of people wanting to pay for stuff was ridiculous.
Here is a quick snap shot of the line that had to be 20+ people long.
It was crazy. All the staff on the floor were super busy trying to help customers. So I decided not to get in line and just look around until it quieted down a bit. Anyway, back to Snow Leopard. I managed to grab the last one off the shelf – but not to worry, I could see a LOT of copies behind and on the Genius counter. So they just didn’t have time to restock the shelf.
So I probably waited 15 minutes and then found a guy on the floor who could ring up my credit card and I was done. Got home and decided I’d do an unboxing video of Snow Leopard. I’ve always wanted to try making videos of unboxings, reviews, and other stuff – and I thought this would be an easy one. So please take a minute and watch my first try. I’m going to install Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro. I’ll use it for a couple of days and then I’ll be back with a review.
