cs3There’s been an update to the story I reported yesterday concerning the compatibility of CS3 and Apple’s upcoming Snow Leopard OS. John Nack has again updated his blog about the issue.

It turns out that the Photoshop team has tested Photoshop CS3 on Snow Leopard, and to the best of our knowledge, PS CS3 works fine on Snow Leopard.

This is a soap opera. First it wasn’t tested and wouldn’t be supported, then it will be supported but wasn’t tested, and now it has been tested and should work fine. Which is it? No mater, we’ll find out tomorrow when Snow Leopard goes on sale.

And yes, I have decided to upgrade to Snow Leopard and take my chances with Photoshop not working as I’ve come accustomed too. If it stops working properly I just learn to use Aperture a little more efficiently. No big deal.
