By now we’ve all seen the Gizmodo leak of what it claims is the new iPhone expected to be announced and released in June. But since then we’ve seen a few more leaks – and with each one, it appears the Apple phone Gizmodo had its hands on is truly the next generation device.

iPhoneinCanada has found a couple of new videos form Vietnam on YouTube which appear to show the new iPhone. It’s a lot more finished than the one Gizmodo had – but it still doesn’t show the phone actually running any OS.

iPodTouchIf you’ve read anything about Apple’s “it’s only rock and roll” event yesterday you know the big news wasn’t what was announced but what wasn’t announced. It’s been all the talk on blogs, tech websites, the media and every other Apple circle – the iPod Touch didn’t get a camera, but the Nano got video recording capability. I even touched on it yesterday. This story isn’t going away any time fast. Not by a long shot.

JobsBy now I sure you’ve read all about today’s Apple “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it” event. You know the iPod Touch ISN’T getting a camera and that the Nano can now record video. Yes, most of my predictions – and pretty much all the predictions out there were wrong. Here’s what I think happened.

photo-1I got it. Stopped off at the Apple store after work to pick up a copy of Snow Leopard – Mac OS 10.6. When I got there the store was packed. It’s always busy, but the line up of people wanting to pay for stuff was ridiculous.

There was a nice surprise waiting for me this morning when I opened Cydia – which I haven’t done in a while – an update to qTweeter. What’s qTweeter you ask – it’s an app for jailbroken iPhones that makes updating your Facebook & Twitter statuses super easy and quick. So what’s so great about the 2.0 update? You can now add video to your posts from your iPhone 3GS, 3G, and original iPhone.

I’m not sure if these guys are crazy or not, but they decided to attach an iPhone 3GS to an RC plane, and record the flight using the video function. Have a look …

The footage is really cool – and once again shows just how impressive the 3GS video capability is. I wouldn’t recommend trying this unless you absolutely know what you’re doing, but it really shows the creativity some people have. What do you think? Please comment below.

Twitter is one of the fastest growing social networking and micro blogging services on the web. Users can express whatever they want in 140 characters or less to anyone willing to read the users tweet. Along with words, users can link to websites, post pictures, and now upload video. You could always link to videos, but a new App only for the iPhone 3GS makes posting video a lot easier.

Following yesterday’s post about the video quality of the Cycorder App on the iPhone, a good friend of mine e-mailed asking me how I manage to get the video off the phone and onto my computer. I thought this would be a good chance to answer that question, because I’m sure there are many iPhone users out there that may not know how this is done.
